Sam Manymules was born and raised on the Hopi reservation in Northern Arizona. He was born of the Bitterwater Clan for the Red Horse Nakai Dine Clan. He has been actively making pottery for more than 20 years.
He is known for the traditional Navajo styled pottery in redware. His firing techniques are unique in that he accomplishes beautiful fireclouding in its completion.
