Kevin Pochoema was born in 1965 and is a member of the Greasewood Clan. His teacher was his brother, Greg Poechema. His awards include: 1992- Best Concept Carving, 1st, 3rd Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial, Gallup, New Mexico; 1996- First Place, Over 15 inch Kachina Dolls. Hopi Marketplace, Museum of Norther Narizona, Flagstaff, Arizona.

The Broadfaced Kachina is one of the Angry Kachinas and is a guard figure whose traditional task was to enforce community work, such as the cleaning of springs. He is most often seen at the end of the Bean Dance Procession.
