He came to working with jewelry after a career in industrial welding. He learned inlay work from master jeweler Jesse Monongya. His work is frequently compared to that of the late Charles Loloma. This bolo measures 4 1/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide and has a handmade clasp in back. The black leather bolo cord measures 49 inches around, including the handmade silver tips, and has a flat comfort neckband.
