Peter Nelson was born in 1954 and has been active making jewelry since 1977. He learned silversmithing in High School at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a member of the Tsinnijinnie (Blackgoat) and Copah (Water) Clans. He specializes in designs based on traditional Navajo rugs motifs.
This necklace measures 24 inches long, not including the naja. Naja measures 3 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.
