Sterling silver bolo tie with inlaid coral, turquoise, shell and jet with the Knife-Wing figure design by Don Dewa (Zuni)

Don Dewa has been making jewelry since the 1970's. In the 1990's he learned mosaic inlay from his mother-in-law Loretta Quam Eriacho. Mosaic inlay, in conjunction with his "spinner" feature, have become his signature techniques. He prefers to use traditional inlay materials in primary colors: coral, turquoise, jet, and shell to create striking patterned designs.

This bolo measures 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches. Bolo cord measures 45 inches around, including tips and has a flat comfort neckband. Hand made clasp on back.
