Sharon Naranjo Garcia was born in 1951 and learned to make pottery from her grandmother, renowned potter Christina Naranjo who also raised her after her mother died young. Sharon is also the great niece of pottery Margaret Tafoya. She has been making pottery full time since the 1980's.
