Navajo Rugs- Past, Present and Future by Gilbert Maxwell with revised text by Bill and Sande Bobb

Originally published in 1963, this book became "the standard guide to contemporary Navajo weaving." (Preface- Navajo Rugs) It was revised with 6 new chapters by Bill and Sande Bobb in 1984 and is an interesting look into the history of the making and collecting of Navajo rugs in the latter half of the 20th century.
