Kingman Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace with Matching Earrings by Fidel Bahe (Navajo)
Fidel Bahe was born in 1949 at Keams Canyon, Arizona. He studied architecture and engineering at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff before taking up silversmithing at the age of 24. He apprenticed with Preston Monogye in 1976 and also with Victor Beck. Charles Loloma was an early influence and provided advice and guidance to the young jeweler. Fidel's work is finely crafted using traditional techniques to produce his unique and eye-catching designs.
This squash blossom measures 28 inches around the neck. Each earring measures 1 1/8 inches long, including the silver ear wire, by 1/2 inch wide.
